Alex Bausch Madison Half Marathon
All-Color’s Alex Bausch participated in the Madison Half Marathon on Sunday, May 24th, 2015. He and his running team finished the 13.1 mile run in under 2 hours (1 hour 54 minutes 23 seconds). Alex was happy to be in this race with his dad, Al Bausch, and friends, Bruce Davis and Jeff Rau. This opportunity was made possible by a program called my TEAM TRIUMPH (mTT). It is a program that allows people with disabilities (captains) to experience athletic races with the help of their family and friends (angels). Specially designed chairs that are pushed by the runners/angels allow the captains to feel the thrill of crossing the finish line. Alex continues to do training runs with the angels. He really likes being outside on the trails and one day hopes to do a full marathon (26.2 miles) with the help of mTT.
